The Bridge Centre of Niagara is a registered not-for-profit club borne through the amalgamation of the St. Catharines Thursday evening club and Pat Teeter's bridge club, whose aim it was to ensure the continuation of growth and promotion of bridge in our area. The Centre was initially funded through a $1,000.00 investment by 30 shareholders which was returned within three years and since then we are a membership endeavour.

The Bridge Centre of Niagara, with over 300 members, is St. Catharines' only full-time Bridge Club with 12 games available six days of the week as detailed in the Regular Games Schedule. Instruction for beginners, intermediates, advanced and expert players are offered throughout the year including a weekly practice session. Each member receives a quarterly newsletter, a yearly updated membership list, a monthly Centre sponsored hospitality event, with at least six other special social events throughout the year. These include the Bridge and catered Dinner at our AGM, the always sold-out BBQ in June, a two-session Bridge and catered Dinner in September, two Christmas parties and the popular New Year's Eve Bash.

Our Centre has a Zero Tolerance policy; unacceptable behaviour is not tolerated at any game. We provide members with a first class facility where the game of duplicate bridge can be played seriously yet always in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The success of our viable, efficient and friendly Club lies with the sincere co-operation and working together of its many hardworking and dedicated volunteer members, our efficient game Directors, and our very capable Bridge instructors.
